Summer XO is an American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. She plays piano, guitar, and ukulele. Her earnest and sometimes clever lyrics are delivered with a clear-voiced authenticity similar to Ingrid Michaelson, Feist, and Fiona Apple. She was raised in rural West Virginia and has previously lived in Portland (OR), Miami, Philadelphia, and Paris.
